Context
The series of international conferences on Traffic and Granular Flow (TGF) has been held since 1995 (see here for previous venues). It serves as a forum for connecting disciplines and for exploring new developments in traffic, mobility, granular flow, pedestrian and evacuation dynamics, self-propelled particles, and collective behaviour.
Conferences are held biennially, they welcome participants from across the world and from different disciplines in a format that is designed to facilitate participation and interactions of all delegates.
Special topics
The 16th TGF will continue the conference’s tradition of acting as a bridge between research fields by introducing two special topics:
- robotics,
- biology (collective dynamics of biological systems, including cells, vertebrates, invertebrates, …).
